The Home Concierge

Plumbing

It is never just the one drip.

  • The kitchen faucet that drips all night
  • The toilet that runs until you jiggle the handle
  • The shower head that sprays sideways
  • The disposal that has hummed since Thanksgiving
  • The shutoff valve you are afraid to turn
  • The towel you keep under the sink for the slow leak

Any one of them is too small to get a plumber out. Together they are a full day of work, and nothing in the house drips, runs or leaks.

Common questions

Is a running toilet really worth a whole day?

On its own, no, and that is exactly the problem. One running toilet is a small slice of a day. The day starts making sense once you add the kitchen faucet, the slow drain and the four other things you have stopped noticing.

Do you supply the faucet or the toilet?

The small parts are ours. Supply lines, putty, thread tape, tank hardware, shutoff valves, P-traps and drain assemblies all come with us. The fixture is yours, so you get the one you actually want. If you would rather not shop for it, we pick it up and bill it at cost.

Can you come out for a burst pipe or an active leak?

No. We are a scheduled day service, not an emergency call-out. If water is running right now, shut the supply off and call an emergency plumber. Book us for everything that can wait.

What is outside what you do?

Anything behind a wall or under the slab, main sewer lines, new rough-in and water heater replacement. We work on fixtures, fittings and shutoffs that are already there. If we open a cabinet and find something worse, you hear about it at the Home Walk™, before anything starts.

Do I need to be home?

For the Home Walk™ at the start, yes. After that it is up to you.
